On 21-Apr-2006, Railroad Development Corp. announced the purchase of two Chinese QJ-class 2-10-2 steam locomotives and the option to purchase three more. The first two units were loaded on a ship and moved to the Port of Houston, where they were offloaded on Satuday, 10-Jun-2006. This album contains photos from various contributers of their move from their original home to Rock Island, IL, as well as their lowering onto Iowa Interstate rails, the FRA inspection, and hopefully the first test run or two.
