Westbound football special at the Wilton overpass, Oct. 20, 1973. This scene is essentially the same today, with the exception of the aluminum guard rail on the overpass being replaced by a concrete one during a widening project 10 years ago or so, welded rail is now in place on the track the train is on, and the former westbound main in the immediate foreground is now part of N. Star siding.
