Nose and cab face of IAIS GP8 7976, 9/25/2004. When the rest of this unit was scrapped, this piece was saved with the thought of eventually chopping the nose on GP9 303. Those plans never came to fruition before the 303 was retired and sold. Erik Rasmussen photo.
