Iowa 405 was a BN Burlington Shops rebuild which is where it got its chopped nose. In this view, the unit is in a rough coat of primer, still needing some puddy and a lot of sanding. The unit started as a Proto 2000 GP7 and was heavily modified. The nose and windshield piece are from a Cascade & Pacific chop nose kit, I also added a Cannon & Company anticlimber that I cut slots into for the ditchlights. A lot of the detail parts including the taller exhaust stacks and air filter are spare parts from the two Kaslo Paducah kits I own. In the view the plow is also waiting to be attached amongst a few other details... By: Chris Lastovich
