Vinyl J-channel trim was used for the bottoms of the fascia and valance since it is extremely flexible and bends easily.

Corners are covered with inexpensive composite trim.  Nail holes and other gaps will be filled with lightweight joint compound before painting.

The electronics for the EasyDCC system are installed behind the fascia in the staging/fiddle yard.  They are powered by the same circuit that controls the lighting.  That way I can be sure that the booster and command station are completely shutdown.

The command station is still accessible for programming needs, but is otherwise hidden to maintain the aesthetics of a clean fascia.

Following up from the 7/05/11 Progress Report, the trackplan has been transferred to the Grimes peninsula using the methods I outlined.  All elements, including track centerlines, roads, structures and even fence lines are shown.
