WELCOME TO IAISRAILFANS.ORG...

Welcome to www.iaisrailfans.org, the new home of the Unofficial Iowa Interstate site. Over the past two months, the site has now undergone its fourth major redesign in its nearly 9 nears of existance, and gotten its own domain in the process.

Mostly it was just an exercise in rearranging things and bringing formatting up to more modern standards, but it puts in place the framework for new material to be added, both by us and by a few contributors. New content includes roster data for the LLPX 280x units and the new IAIS 700-series units, actual useful content in the freight car roster, a new contributors' photo gallery called "IAIS in Pictures" designed to hold general IAIS photography, and write-ups on the connecting CRANDIC lines and the new ICCR/CRIC trains that started in August.

Hopefully I haven't made any typos or errors, but realistically that's probably not the case. Being your own editor is generally a bad thing... If you find anything inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or just plain dumb, please let me know by email, and I'll make corrections. - NDH
